New Bullet Hell Game, Bullet Casters, In Development

When you think of bullet hell games, what comes to mind? You might picture your computer screen filled with oncoming projectiles, or you might think of specific titles such as Enter The Gungeon or Cuphead. Whether it takes up an entire game or just one boss fight, the overwhelming action of bullet hell certainly has its fans. Now, a new title is hoping to make a name for itself in the genre. Last Credit Games have announced their upcoming game, Bullet Casters.

Today’s press release introduced Bullet Casters and described what players can expect from the title:

“Bullet Casters takes you on a journey where knowing your character hitbox is key to your success! Follow your enemies’ projectile pattern and collect the stars required to unlock new levels. Or compete with a second player in a revolutionary attack/defense concept!”

Last Credit Games’ Director Enrico Consiglio had this to say about their upcoming bullet hell game:

“We want to create a Shoot ’em Up that anyone can easily pick up and play with their friends, even if they are new to the genre, or where Bullet Hell veterans can face off in heated competitions. Of course there will be plenty of single-player content too: the Challenge Mode will contain around 60 levels and feature intense boss fights”

Bullet Casters incentivizes players to complete Challenge Mode with rewards for the multiplayer Duel Mode. According to today’s press release:

“Embark with one of the four character and test your reflexes & dodge skills as you take on a series of gradually demanding levels and monsters. Completing these challenges rewards you with new units for Duel Mode.”

Players who want to take a shot at a new bullet hell game will be happy to know that the Bullet Casters demo will be available on Steam from February 21-28, 2022, as part of the upcoming Steam Next Fest. There is no word yet on an official release date for Bullet Casters.
