The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters will be coming to the PS4 and Nintendo Switch this May. Developed by Devespresso, the game has received positive reviews on Steam. After a successful Early Access Launch last November, critics praised its visuals, narrative, and AI.

So, for those who are not up to date with the franchise, Vicious Sisters is a follow on from The Coma: Recut. Despite being a sequel, no catch up is needed to understand Vicious Sisters. The story focuses on Mina Park, a minor side-character from Recut, Park has to evade a slasher in a deserted high school.

Mina will encounter creatures, strangers, and form alliances throughout the Sehwa district while eluding someone or something that looks like her English teacher.

Better still, The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters also offers a tonne of features. From weapon crafting to a new AI, there’s also unlockable tools and upgrades, plus beautifully hand-illustrated visuals and comic strips.

Thematically, The Coma 2 explores friendship, bullying, as well as the pressure of academic achievement in a Korean context. Plus, it’s key for players to balance exploration with the dangers they’ll encounter.

Published by Headup, Vicious Sisters even supports eleven languages. These include English, Korean, French, German, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Ukrainian, Spanish, Thai, Portuguese, and Brazilian Portuguese.
